Job Summary

As a Surgical Technologist, you will collaborate with the surgical team to provide exceptional patient care, ensuring that the patient's goals are met and the hospital's mission is upheld.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the surgical team in preparing patients for surgery, ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
  • Provide technical support during surgical procedures, maintaining a safe and sterile environment.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure that patient care is delivered in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest surgical techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technologist, which may include a combination of Surgical Technician experience or Surgical Extern experience.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; post-high school education, certification, or diploma preferred.
  • Certification as a Surgical Technologist, with American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA-approved equivalent required within 90 days of hire.
