Surgical Technologist Level I

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist Level I to join our team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient operating room environment, adhering to aseptic surgical techniques.
- Assist surgeons and other medical staff during procedures, providing essential support and equipment.
- Ensure the proper functioning of various types of equipment used in the operating room, including tables, cameras, microscopes, and instrument pans.
- Transport patients and equipment safely and efficiently, utilizing proper lifting and pushing/pulling techniques.
- Maintain a high level of customer service and interpersonal skills, working effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in Surgical Technology.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) within 6 months.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, push/pull with 30 pounds of force, and perform other physical demands of the job.
