Employment Transition Specialist

Janus Developmental Services is seeking a highly motivated Employment Transition Specialist to join our team. As an Employment Transition Specialist, you will provide on-the-job training assistance, counseling, and evaluation of newly placed individuals in a community work setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule meetings with new consumers to develop a personal resume and prepare them for interviewing.
- Assist with community site interviews and job orientation with consumers.
- Provide job training and onsite job coaching for tier 1 and tier 2 consumers at community sites.
- Assist community site management and/or consumer with employment issues.
- Prepare reports on each consumer and maintain all necessary paperwork.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of one year experience working in a rehabilitation facility or related human/social services field.
- Valid Public Passenger Chauffeur's License, CPR, and First Aid Certification.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.
