About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Facilities Management to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of our facilities, ensuring that they are safe, efficient, and effective.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive facilities management plan that aligns with our company's strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with our leadership team to identify and prioritize capital projects and equipment installations.
  • Manage and maintain our facilities budget, ensuring that we operate within budget guidelines.
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of our facilities, including scheduling and assigning work orders and PMs.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including Joint Commission and CMS requirements.
  • Develop and implement energy conservation and cost containment measures.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to our facilities team, including training and development opportunities.
  • Communicate effectively with our leadership team, staff, and external partners to ensure seamless operations.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and reports, including local, state, and EPA reports.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive safety program, including training and drills.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional with a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Hospital Administration, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management, preferably in a hospital setting, is required.

Required Skills

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA compliance.

Preferred Skills

CHFM or CBET certification is preferred. Experience with energy audits and cost containment measures is also a plus.
