Client Implementation and Service Specialist

About the Role
The Retiree Services Department at State Street is seeking an experienced Operations Officer to assist with various activities related to our benefit payment system migration project and current/future state Retiree Services operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in project management and execution of our benefit payment system migration project, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
- Assist with requirement definition, documentation, and functional development to meet business needs.
- Contribute to business testing, including test case design and execution, and defect documentation to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Liaise with system vendors, manage vendor deliverables, and develop future state vendor oversight and operating models.
- Perform vendor service level monitoring and support daily vendor oversight activities to ensure optimal performance.
- Assess daily benefit payment operations conducted by vendors and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop operational control structures, identify operational risks, and propose mitigating controls to ensure business continuity.
- Document SOPs, process flows, and other business operations support documentation to maintain a knowledge base.
- Support daily Retiree Services operations where applicable and contribute to data gathering and analysis efforts.
- Assist with new benefit payment client implementation tasks, including data conversion specifications, reconciliation of converted participant payment totals, and tracking and execution of required client and internal documentation.
Requirements
- College degree or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in a project environment.
- Working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint required; Visio and MS Project helpful.
