Job Summary:

The Mental Health Specialist will provide intake evaluations, counseling, and service coordination in individual and/or group settings in one of Community Healthcore's programs. This role may be available in various programs, including Adult Mental Health, Child and Adolescent Mental Health, and Crisis Services. The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field and be licensed in the State of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

Responsibilities:

Provide psychotherapeutic services, including screenings, diagnostic evaluations, intake assessments, crisis intervention, and person-centered recovery plan development.
Coordinate with other providers and agencies to deliver adjunctive services, such as staffing and resource support.
Ensure planned services and supports are implemented and documented, and connect clients with appropriate services and supports as needed.

Requirements:

Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
Licensed in the State of Texas as a LPC, LMFT, or LCSW.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and time management skills.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with diverse populations and systems.
