Our Team:

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care Unit team. As a RN Progressive Care Overflow Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
  • Supervise, teach, and delegate to other personnel in the performance of activities related to nursing care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Monitor and report patient progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.

Requirements:

  • Current Registered Nurse Licensure to practice in the state of Kentucky OR a Current Registered Nurse Licensure with a multistate compact status.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS certification (or) obtained within 90 days after hire date.
  • Successfully pass an arrhythmia exam within 90 days after hire date.
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
