Job Summary

The Host/Host is responsible for greeting guests, providing accurate wait times, and escorting customers to the dining and bar areas. This role requires solid organizational and people skills to ensure our guests have a positive dining experience from the moment they arrive until their departure.

Responsibilities

  • Answer phones throughout the shift and direct calls to the appropriate personnel as necessary.
  • Greet, seat guests, while maintaining a balanced rotation between servers.
  • Provide clear and prompt communication, both face-to-face and over the phone.
  • Eagerly accommodate all guests' requests.
  • Assess, be aware of, and understand going on a wait as needed.
  • Perform additional opening and closing side work-related job duties, including cleaning, stocking, and setting up the host stand for the next shift.

Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant or host experience is preferred.
  • Able to multitask.
  • Customer service focused and solution-oriented.
  • Must enjoy and be able to succeed in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on restaurant needs.
