Heavy Equipment Operator

An Excavation and Grading Technician operates various types of power construction equipment, including Dozers, Loaders, Front-End Loaders, Bobcats, Backhoes, and Scrapers, to excavate, move, and grade earth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain equipment
- Read and understand plans, set lasers, and read elevations
- Identify machines and capabilities of each piece of heavy equipment
- Slope trenches and use trench boxes
Requirements:
- Minimum of four years operating heavy equipment
- Ability to follow directions and read plans
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel
