ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Social Worker to join their team in Waukee, IA. As a key member of the school district's support staff, the successful candidate will provide essential services to students, families, and the community.
Key Responsibilities- Student Support: Provide individual and group counseling to students to address social, emotional, and behavioral issues, including family conflict, trauma, grief, and mental health concerns.
- Assessment and Intervention: Conduct assessments and screenings to identify students' needs and develop intervention plans in collaboration with school staff, families, and community agencies.
- Community Linkage: Serve as a link between school, home, and community resources, connecting students and families with services such as counseling, housing assistance, and healthcare to support their well-being and academic success.
- Crisis Intervention: Advocate for students' rights and provide crisis intervention and support during emergencies, working closely with school administrators and other professionals to ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Competitive Compensation: Highly competitive salary range of $35-$40 per hour.
