Job Title: Surgical Technician

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our team at Arkansas Valley Surgery Center. As a Surgical Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Verify the functionality of equipment and assist with patient preparation.
  • Prepare the surgical suite with instruments, equipment, and supplies.
  • Hand instruments to surgeons during procedures and account for their location and number.
  • Receive and process specimens.
  • Perform sterile processing of equipment.
  • Assist with supply inventory.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of a Surgical Tech program or 6 months of surgical tech experience.
  • State Surgical Tech registration.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle complex and stressful situations in a calm, professional manner.
Other Qualifications:
  • Ability to multitask effectively and maintain a professional demeanor.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • High integrity and ability to maintain confidential information.
