We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist II to join our team at NorthBay Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing general radiographic studies, ensuring patient safety and well-being, and maintaining high-quality imaging standards.
Key Responsibilities- Perform C/T and Radiology (X-ray) examinations in accordance with established protocols.
- Assist and instruct patients prior to and during examinations.
- Evaluate each study to ensure it meets required quality standards.
- Inspect and clean equipment prior to use.
- Report equipment failures and malfunctions to the radiology supervisor.
- Process images, organize paperwork, and complete charges.
- Work in other areas of the department, such as radiology, ultrasound, etc.
- Graduate of an AMA-approved radiology course.
- AHA or equivalent BLS Certification required.
- CRT, Fluoroscopic license within 180 days of hire.
- Minimum two years of experience in general radiology.
- Minimum one year of C/T experience.
- Clerical and computer experience.
