Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiology Technologist II to join our team at NorthBay Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of radiographic studies, including CT scans and X-rays, to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT and radiology examinations in accordance with established protocols and quality standards.
  • Assist and instruct patients prior to and during examinations, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Evaluate each study to ensure it meets required quality standards and reports any discrepancies or malfunctions to the radiology supervisor.
  • Inspect and clean equipment prior to use, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Process images, organize paperwork, and complete charges in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and meet organizational standards for Joint Commission, Patient Safety, and the Department of Health.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved radiology course.
  • AHA or equivalent BLS certification required.
  • CRT and fluoroscopic license within 180 days of hire.
  • Minimum two years of experience in general radiology and one year of CT experience.
  • Clerical and computer experience.
