Radiology Technologist II

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiology Technologist II to join our team at NorthBay Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of radiographic studies, including CT scans and X-rays, to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
Key Responsibilities- Perform CT and radiology examinations in accordance with established protocols and quality standards.
- Assist and instruct patients prior to and during examinations, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Evaluate each study to ensure it meets required quality standards and reports any discrepancies or malfunctions to the radiology supervisor.
- Inspect and clean equipment prior to use, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
- Process images, organize paperwork, and complete charges in a timely and accurate manner.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and meet organizational standards for Joint Commission, Patient Safety, and the Department of Health.
- Graduate of an AMA-approved radiology course.
- AHA or equivalent BLS certification required.
- CRT and fluoroscopic license within 180 days of hire.
- Minimum two years of experience in general radiology and one year of CT experience.
- Clerical and computer experience.
