Job Overview

The Manufacturing Production Specialist position is an exciting opportunity for individuals who thrive in a hands-on manufacturing environment. This role entails operating various assigned positions and undertaking additional tasks or projects with a focus on safety and efficiency to produce high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate both automatic and semi-automatic machinery in accordance with established Standard Work Instructions (SWI).
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and equipment.
  • Assemble and evaluate components to ensure compliance with specified standards.
  • Conduct basic electrical and continuity testing on electronic components and systems.
  • Identify and label acceptable and defective assemblies.
  • Inspect final products for quality, labeling, and packaging accuracy.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned and directed.
  • Adhere to established policies and procedures to maintain compliance.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of 1 year of production experience is preferred, with 2 years being ideal.
  • Willingness to learn and be coached.
  • Dependable with a strong record of attendance and punctuality.
  • Team-oriented with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
  • Ability to lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds independently and assist with team lifts of approximately 60 pounds.
  • Capable of standing, walking, and working on feet for extended periods, typically 8 hours or more.
Compensation:

The salary range for this position is between $18 and $21 per hour, depending on experience.

Work Schedule:

Various shift options are available, including:

  • NIGHT SHIFT: Monday-Friday 10:00 PM-6:00 AM (additional $1.50/hr)
  • SWING SHIFT: Monday-Friday 3:00-11:30 PM
  • 1st SHIFT: Monday-Friday 6:30 AM-3:00 PM
  • Note: All schedules will transition to a rotating Pitman schedule in the near future.
