Job Title: Manufacturing Quality Engineer

Job Summary:

Cypress HCM is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Quality Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our quality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the company's overall quality control of products and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and maintain quality controls and Standard Work Instructions (SWIs).
  • Monitor and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in quality and process efficiency.
  • Lead root cause/corrective action activities to resolve quality issues and improve process performance.
  • Develop and implement statistical process control (SPC) and other quality control methods to improve product quality and reduce defects.
  • Champion control plans, PFMEAs, and related inspection and testing activities to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Perform process, system, and dimensional audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Develop and implement new product launches for all quality-related documentation.
  • Implement SPC and liaise with suppliers and customers as needed.
  • Review supplier SCARs and 8Ds to improve supplier quality training and work on action with the supplier.
  • Review RMA claims for accuracy and oversee the RMA program in-house.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to produce and maintain all documentation required for the Quality manual in respecting the ISO standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering, Physics, or related field.
  • Minimum 3+ years of Quality Engineering experience in a high-volume, high-tech manufacturing environment.
  • Practical knowledge and application of statistical software packages such as IMP or Minitab.
  • Knowledge of all PV-related certifications, including but not limited to; UL1703, IEC 61215, IEC61730-1, IEC61730-2.
  • Knowledge in working with Lean Manufacturing/JIT, Six Sigma methodologies, and Total Quality fundamentals.
  • Module manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Certified Quality Engineer accreditation preferred.
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint, MRP, and ERP systems preferred.

Salary Range:

  • $80,000-105,000 per year.
  • Annual bonus eligibility of up to 10% of salary.
