RN-Angiography Specialist

Job Summary:
The RN-Angiography Specialist is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the angiography department. This includes assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized plans of care, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized plans of care
- Implement principles of medical and surgical asepsis
- Perform all treatment and procedures in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Accurately document pertinent patient information
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, currently licensed in the State of New York
- BSN preferred
- Membership in a professional organization preferred
- 3 years acute care nursing experience preferred with a focus on critical care or Emergency Room nursing experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- ARIN, SVN, Cardiac-Vascular Nursing, or CCRN certification
- Conscious Sedation and ACLS required in all areas except staff that are in the Breast Center ONLY
- PICC certification is preferred in all special procedure areas
