Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional service to residents, families, and guests.
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary, safe, and organized work area.
  • Complete opening and closing duties, including routine, daily, and weekly cleaning responsibilities.
  • Notify supervisor of any changes in residents' personal health.
  • Assist with the supervision of dining assistants in the absence of the Leadership Team.
  • Respond to resident requests and concerns, and promptly notify supervisor.
  • Partner effectively with others in a demanding and changing environment.
  • Demonstrate respect for facility property and supplies.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • 16 years of age.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of the facility.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience leading others.
  • Previous food service experience.
  • Basic knowledge of food service.
  • Knowledge of kitchen equipment.
  • Previous senior care experience.
  • ServSafe certified or equivalent.
