Surgical Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Fairview Health Services. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the surgical team and maintaining the safety and efficiency of the operating room.
Responsibilities
Supplying appropriate instruments, suture, and specialty items.
Maintaining aseptic technique during all sterile procedures.
Ensuring accurate identification and handling of specimens.
Counting all required sponges, sharps, and instruments.
Assuring availability and accurate functioning of supplies and equipment.
Modifying clinical interventions based on population served.
Nurturing a culture of improvement, efficiency, and innovative thinking.
Anticipating the surgeon's needs.
Following appropriate action in emergency situations.
Requirements
Complete one of the following by hire date: Military Surgical Assistant; ORLPN (licensed in MN) Surgical Assistant; ORSurgical Technologist training.
Basic Life Support (BLS) through Health Care Providers (or ability to obtain by hire date).
