The responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal standards for public water systems.
  • Evaluating water quality metrics and generating reports to fulfill drinking water compliance obligations.
  • Managing the operation of treatment machinery and equipment to ensure safe drinking water.
  • Providing training to staff on the operation, upkeep, and repair of water treatment systems.
  • Supervising maintenance tasks, repairs, and assessments of wells and pumping systems.
  • Addressing operational challenges at the water treatment facility and distribution network.
  • Carrying out on-call responsibilities for the water treatment facility and distribution network.
  • Overseeing personnel involved in underground water utilities and leak detection initiatives.

Position Requirements:

To qualify for this position, candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in water treatment and distribution systems.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Excellent communication abilities and a proven track record of effective team leadership.
  • The capacity to work autonomously and make informed decisions.
