We are seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Fort Zumwalt R-II School District.

Job Summary:

The Speech and Language Therapist will provide individualized programs of therapy to meet the needs of students with speech and language impairments. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work collaboratively with teachers and other school staff, and have a passion for helping students overcome speech and language challenges.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address speech and language impairments
  • Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to implement therapy plans and provide support to students
  • Assess and diagnose speech and language impairments and provide recommendations for treatment
  • Provide therapy services to students in a variety of settings, including classrooms and therapy rooms
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of student progress and therapy plans
  • Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to the development of school policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • State certification or licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other school staff
  • Passion for helping students overcome speech and language challenges
Working Conditions:

The Speech and Language Therapist will work in a school setting, providing therapy services to students in a variety of settings. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to adapt to changing circumstances.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary and benefits for this position will be according to the current salary schedule and the Professional Agreement.
