Mental Health Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Sales Representative to join our team at Lundbeck.
About the Role:This is a key opportunity for a motivated and experienced sales professional to drive growth in the psychiatry portfolio by promoting our products and services to customers in the Phoenix West, AZ territory.
Key Responsibilities:The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the promotion of our psychiatry products, executing sales and marketing strategies, and developing strong relationships with customers. This role requires a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical environment, including regulatory requirements and compliance guidelines.
Essential Functions:
- Business Planning & Account Leadership: Develop and execute business plans, allocate resources, and monitor progress to maximize sales performance.
- Selling: Deliver clear and compelling messages to customers, handle objections, and close deals to drive behavior changes.
- Customer Development: Build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders based on customer needs and organizational goals.
- Local Market & Therapeutic Area Expertise: Gather and validate market trends, map account linkages, and apply comprehensive therapeutic knowledge to uncover opportunities.
- Reimbursement: Stay informed on reimbursement dynamics, anticipate payer access issues, and effectively address them using Lundbeck resources.
- Pharmaceutical Environment/Compliance: Apply knowledge of pharmaceutical and regulatory environments, including accountability and adherence to Lundbeck policies and procedures.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- At least 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, biologics, medical device sales, or related healthcare sales.
- Demonstrated intellectual capacity to score highly on disease and product training exams, including annual certification on product knowledge.
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic and outstanding communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
- A valid driver's license with a safe driving record that meets company requirements.
- Ability to meet and comply with reasonable industry-standard credentialing requirements of healthcare providers/customer facilities.
If you have prior experience within a specialty product sales force, promoting CNS/neuroscience products, documented successful sales performance, ownership of account plans, and analytical background, you will be well-suited for this role.
Travel Requirements:You should be willing and able to travel up to 30% - 40% domestically to meet with customers and internal personnel within assigned territory and attend conferences and meetings.
Compensation:The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package to support your health, family, and everyday life.
