We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety and Compliance Specialist to join our team at Coilplus Inc. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Regular Safety Inspections: Inspect machinery, equipment, and working conditions to identify potential hazards and take corrective action to prevent accidents.
  • Develop and Implement Safety Procedures: Develop and/or update process and procedure improvements to minimize safety incidents, near misses, and accidents.
  • Monitor Operations and Maintain Accurate Records: Continuously monitor operations to eliminate unsafe conditions and hazardous activities, and maintain accurate safety records.
  • Provide Safety Training and Education: Educate and train staff on health and safety protocols, and assess their understanding and compliance.
  • Investigate Accidents and Incidents: Investigate on-site accidents, prepare investigation findings, and complete safety reports.
  • Develop and Implement Safety Programs: Develop and implement safety programs, including training schedules, accident prevention devices, and emergency response plans.
Requirements
  • Leadership Skills: Provide feedback and guidance to employees to ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Communicate effectively with employees, management, and external stakeholders to ensure safety protocols are understood and implemented.
  • Experience with Safety Software and Equipment: Experience with safety software and equipment, including OSHA and LMS training schedules.
  • OSHA Certification: OSHA certification and CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree in Industrial Technology or Equivalent: Associate's degree in industrial technology or equivalent in pertinent health and safety experience.
