Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement educational programs to enhance nursing competencies.
  • Collaborate with Directors to design and deliver clinical education programs.
  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to nursing staff.
  • Contribute to department operations and communications.
  • Uphold the standards of AIDET patient communication.
Requirements
  • Minimum of two (2) years' experience as a nurse required.
  • Prior education experience a plus.
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, strong organizational skills, and PC skills.
  • Licensure/Certifications:
    • Current RN license issued and/or recognized by the state Board of Nursing for the State of employment.
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association (AHA), required.
    • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from American Heart Association (AHA), required.
    • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from American Heart Association (AHA) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification is required within 6 months of hire.
    • AB508 Workplace Violence Prevention-Part 1, due within 30 days from hire date.
