Clinical RN Coordinator Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical RN Coordinator to join our team at Nuvance Health Med Practice CT. As a key member of our Oncology department, you will play a vital role in ensuring high-quality patient care and coordination of clinical and administrative activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist supervising physicians with patient visits, including physical assessments and health histories.
  • Coordinate care with infusion staff and respond to patient care-related phone calls.
  • Collect and track clinical data, including laboratory, radiology, and pathology results.
  • Develop treatment plans and ensure compliance with NCCN and ASCO guidelines.
  • Provide patient education and support, including safe handling procedures and side effect management.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities and ensure compliance with billing and coding regulations.
  • Assist with training new nurses and supervise medical assistants and secretaries.

Requirements:

  • State of CT RN license
  • Minimum 3 years of experience
  • BSN preferred, OCN certification a plus

Working Conditions:

  • Sedentary/light effort, may exert up to 10 lbs. force
  • Generally pleasant working conditions
