Aerospace Systems Specialist

Job Summary:
KBR Government Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to support mechanical analysis projects for aircraft weapon system programs. As a key member of our team, you will provide analyses, planning, and draft documentation to address mechanical, electrical, or avionics systems Operational Safety, Suitability, and Effectiveness (OSS&E) requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering evaluation, analysis, and recommended disposition of technical assistance requests for aircraft mechanical, electrical, or avionics systems.
- Develop and manage large MS Excel spreadsheets, identify failure trends, and propose potential mitigating solutions.
- Write technical reports detailing analyses in MS Word and Adobe Pro.
- Interface directly with USAF customers to identify customer needs and ensure efforts meet customer expectations.
- Support similar duties on various other USAF weapon systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Electrical Engineering from an ABET Accredited Institution.
- Ability to write formal engineering reports and construct briefing materials using MS Office tools.
- US Citizen with eligibility for a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
