**About the Job:**

We are seeking a skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a hybrid model, allowing for both remote and in-office work. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for preparing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with FASB standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and reconciling fixed assets, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Preparing and posting journal entries and accruals to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
  • Assisting with the preparation and coordination of the audit process.
  • Implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures.
  • Using SAP to streamline and improve financial processes and reporting.
  • Reviewing and analyzing income statements and balance sheet accounts.
  • Providing support and guidance to junior staff members.
  • Participating in special projects and initiatives as needed.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in the engineering industry.
  • Proficiency in SAP and other accounting software.
  • Strong knowledge of FASB standards, general ledger functions, and the month-end/year-end close process.
  • Excellent understanding of financial and accounting procedures, including balance sheet account reconciliation and income statement analysis.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
