Job Description

**Location Manager**

UST Logistics is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Location Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our logistics operations, ensuring that our clients receive exceptional service and that our operations are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular ride-alongs and evaluations of contractors to assess their skills and identify areas for development.
  • Collaborate with our customer service team to ensure that all customers are satisfied with our services.
  • Oversee the administrative support team at our locations, providing guidance and direction as needed.
  • Ensure that all claims are properly charged back to the appropriate driver.
  • Verify that all operations are in compliance with DOT and OSHA regulations.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure that our operations are running efficiently and effectively.
  • Review weekly reports to ensure that our financial objectives are being met.
  • Monitor weekly settlements to ensure that our contractors are meeting their goals.
  • Oversee the loading of all vehicles to ensure that our retail home products are delivered to the end consumer in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Recruit and manage independent owner-operators and their teams.

Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Higher education and/or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Valid driver's license.
