Probabilistic Safety Analysis Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Probabilistic Safety Analysis Engineer to join our team at Holtec International. As a member of our PSA group, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe operation of our SMR-160 nuclear power plant.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
- Executing key PSA activities as a member of the multinational PSA team, including engineering analyses and technical documentation.
- Gaining a deep understanding of the SMR-160 concept design, its safety features and design functions of the plant's Systems, Structures, and Components (SSC).
- Interacting with team members from other disciplines and vendors to help identify and recommend potential SMR-160 design and operational improvements using PSA risk insights.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A B.S. degree in Nuclear Engineering, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or closely related field of engineering.
- 3-10+ years of experience in PSA modeling.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and computer skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Estimated Salary
$140,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on experience.
