Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Multilingual Mental Health Therapist to join our team at COMHAR, Inc. in Philadelphia. About the Role:

As a Multilingual Mental Health Therapist, you will provide evidence-based psychotherapeutic interventions to individuals, groups, and families. Your primary focus will be on promoting recovery-oriented care, cultural sensitivity, and trauma-informed practices. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans that address the unique needs of each individual.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide recovery-oriented screenings and comprehensive bio-psycho-social assessments for assigned individuals
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practices and approaches
  • Participate in regular supervision and training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and reports
  • Collaborate with external teams to ensure coordination between systems and promote continuity of care
  • Conduct group therapy sessions addressing addictive behaviors and related mental health issues

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) required
  • Master's degree in a relevant field (License preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in behavioral health/substance use field or equivalent certification
  • Valid PA State Criminal, FBI, Child Abuse clearances
  • Current ACT 31 (Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse Certificate)
