Job Summary

Advanced Drainage Systems (ADS) is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing operations, you will be responsible for performing preventive and reactive maintenance duties to ensure maximum production rates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex equipment and systems, including electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Maintain and build job skills through company training programs and stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques.
  • Contact and specify replacement parts and control components from suppliers as needed.
  • Effectively contribute to CMMS performance through timely PM and repair work order completion while ensuring compliance.
  • Respond to troubleshooting machine problems and contact Electrical Engineering if additional support is needed.
  • Support Daily Management directives and initiatives.
  • Develop and implement Continuous Improvement projects to improve production efficiencies and Safety.
  • Work with Production Staff to ensure the safe and reliable operation of plant equipment.
Requirements
  • High School/Vocational School Diploma or Equivalent - Required
  • Technician level - Electrical, hydraulics, pneumatic - Preferred
  • Basic PLC and Drive training - Preferred
  • +5 years Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Systems and Controls - Preferred
Physical Requirements
  • Lift and move heavy items, which will require the ability to repeatedly lift 50 pounds to a height of 6 feet.
  • Work specified shifts and move around at all times, which will require the ability to stand and be mobile for a minimum of 8 continuous hours.
  • Work in temperature extremes and perform physical labor for extended periods of time.
  • Handle materials daily, which requires the ability to use hands, arms, and legs to physically handle and transport finished goods.
  • Full range of body motion, on a daily basis, including twisting, bending, reaching, squatting, and ability to mount/dismount industrial equipment and vehicles.
