The Insurance Specialist at Hattiesburg Clinic is responsible for completing follow-up on denials and no response claims. This role requires a strong knowledge base of CPT and medical diagnosis coding, as well as excellent oral and written communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough research and analysis of denied claims to identify root causes and develop effective resolution strategies.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve claims and improve overall claims processing efficiency.
• Develop and maintain a solid understanding of payor policies and procedures to ensure accurate and timely claims processing.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; previous experience working multiple payors, including BCBS, UHC, Medicare, and Medicaid denials and appeals, preferred.
• Strong knowledge base of CPT and medical diagnosis coding required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:00A.M. - 5:00P.M.
Pay Type:
Hourly.
