Job Summary

The Senior Accounting Analyst is an experienced professional responsible for supporting the financial accounting and reporting needs of designated business units. Key responsibilities include timely and accurate production and issuance of period-ending financial statements, ad-hoc client service, reporting and analysis to provide business results and insights, informing and supporting the annual budgeting process, and identification of opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare timely and accurate month-end financial statements.
  • Coordinate with and support other Finance & Accounting functions in completing month-end close activities.
  • Maintain variance analysis on business unit financial and overhead results.
  • Prepare monthly reconciliations on balance sheet accounts.
  • Support consolidated financial reporting.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting along with a minimum of 5 years of either Public Accounting experience with a National or large Regional CPA firm and/or accounting experience for a large company in their corporate offices.
  • Must possess strong analytical as well as audit/research documentation skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of the monthly closing process.
  • Must possess strong Excel skills as well as demonstrated proficiency with general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and fixed asset software.

Estimated Salary: $73,615-100,116 per year
