Responsibilities
  • Providing post-acute care as a Practical Nursing Specialist
  • Monitoring residents' physical and mental health and documenting vital signs
  • Conducting resident intakes and recording health concerns and medical histories
  • Reviewing residents' medical records and charts
  • Administering and verifying medications accurately
  • Maintaining appropriate levels of medical supplies
  • Contributing to a safe and comfortable environment for residents
  • Assisting with IV setups, vaccinations, and phlebotomy procedures
  • Adhering to care plans for residents
  • Supporting medical staff with orientation and training
Qualifications and Skills
  • Current state license to practice as a Practical Nursing Specialist
  • Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing educational program
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in a related role
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
