We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Facilities Support Specialist to join our team at Commander, Navy Installations. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of living quarters and common areas aboard NAS Whidbey Island.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Providing custodial services to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our residents">
  • Ensuring compliance with regulations and standards related to facility maintenance and operations">
  • Collaborating with management and other stakeholders to identify and prioritize facility maintenance needs">
  • Developing and implementing effective strategies to improve facility efficiency and reduce waste">
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to, trash removal, sweeping, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, washing walls and windows, and sanitizing bathrooms and kitchens">
  • Participating in the inventory control program and performing other related duties as assigned">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience">
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in facilities management or related field">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills">
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team">

Salary Range:

">

The estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience and education.
