  • Oversee the team's schedule, ensuring punctuality and consistent attendance, while managing downtime and ensuring production uptime.
  • Lead by example in a hands-on capacity, actively participating in production processes to motivate and drive team performance.
  • Address performance issues as needed with a fair and consistent approach to discipline, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
  • Inspire your team through strong leadership, fostering accountability and a culture of high performance.
  • Track key production metrics using spreadsheets and other data entry systems, reporting results and improvements to the Plant Manager.
  • Implement lean manufacturing techniques and Kaizen principles to optimize efficiency, reduce waste, and improve workflow.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of proven leadership experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
  • Experience in industries such as textiles, glass, chemicals, or similar is preferred.
  • Strong ability to delegate, manage, and discipline effectively while fostering team collaboration.
  • Competence in data entry, spreadsheets, and familiarity with production management software.
  • Working knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, particularly Kaizen, to drive continuous improvements.

  • Sense of Urgency: Must thrive in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to multi-task and think proactively.
  • Hands-On Leadership: This role requires someone who is not only able to supervise but also step in when needed to ensure the team remains on track.

Shift Schedule:

  • Day Shift: Two positions available, Monday-Wednesday, 12-hour shifts (7:30 AM - 8:00 PM), 36 hours per week.
  • Night Shift: One position available, Thursday-Saturday, 12-hour shifts (7:30 PM - 8:00 AM), 36 hours per week.
