Job Title: Store Manager

Buff City Soap Franchise is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to lead our team in creating an exceptional client experience. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for supervising and directing the workforce, ensuring client satisfaction and quality of client experience, monitoring and motivating staff to achieve performance goals, handling minor maintenance issues, ensuring the cleanliness of your makery, and managing safety and security within the makery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and coach employees to provide amazing client experiences.
  • Follow up swiftly on client concerns and issues.
  • Set a positive example and demonstrate a calm demeanor during periods of high volume.
  • Hold team members accountable for quality client service.
  • Drive company metrics by developing action plans and implementing company programs.
  • Manage with integrity and honesty and promote the culture, values, and mission of Buff City Soap.
  • Plan, identify, communicate, and delegate responsibilities to team members to ensure smooth flow of operations.
  • Manage and track stock of raw materials, finished products, and supplies.
  • Maintain outstanding store conditions and visual merchandising compliance with the Buff City Soap brand standards.
  • Directly responsible for the production, cleanliness, maintenance, sanitation, and organization of the makery.
  • Manage and track stock of raw materials, finished products, and supplies.
  • Manage makery staffing levels to ensure employee development and maintain makery operational requirements.
  • Adhere to applicable wage and hour laws for non-exempt team members and minors.
  • Use operational tools to plan for and achieve operational excellence in the makery.
  • Utilize financial reports to identify and address trends and issues in makery performance.
  • Conduct performance assessments, providing feedback and setting challenging goals to improve sales performance.
  • Manage ongoing sales.
Requirements:
  • College education preferred, but not required.
  • Management and/or Sales experience required.
  • Basic Computer skills (ability to use Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Ability to manage effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple situations simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of client service techniques and operational practices.
  • Strong problem solving and organizational/planning skills.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to coach and mentor while having knowledge of supervisory practices and procedures.
  • Team building skills
  • Ability to prioritize and delegate.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
  • Must not be sensitive to various scents and fragrances.
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers.
  • Ability to lift or assist in lifting items and heavy boxes up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to walk, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, twist and stoop, kneel or crouch.
  • Ability to perform makery cleaning functions including dusting, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, etc.
