Impactful Responsibilities:
  • Provide geotechnical engineering expertise for transportation and commercial initiatives
  • Conduct independent evaluations using established methodologies, applying engineering judgment for minor adjustments as necessary
  • Make informed decisions and recommendations based on test report findings and project conditions
  • Prepare and assess geotechnical reports in accordance with project specifications

Qualifications for Success:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution, along with a Master's Degree in Geotechnical Engineering is mandatory
  • A minimum of 15 years of relevant industry experience is essential, with substantial experience in Department of Transportation projects preferred
  • Possession of a Texas P.E. License or the ability to quickly obtain reciprocity is necessary
  • Proficiency in software such as GeoStudio, LPILE, GROUP, SHAFT, Plaxis, SLIDE, Settle3D, and MSEW
  • Achieve Principal Consultant status internally (5 years of experience in CS / 8 years in Geo)
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and listening) and excellent interpersonal abilities are required
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teams across various locations
  • Valid Driver's license and a reliable driving record are required
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
