Orion Talent is seeking an experienced Environmental Health and Safety Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing a range of Health, Safety, Environmental, and security initiatives at our MD facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of 3-4 HSE professionals and act as the main HSE representative for the site.
  • Participate in the site's leadership group, providing HSE technical assistance, advice, and ensuring compliance with HSE regulations.
  • Implement HSE initiatives, promote best practices, and maintain a visible presence on the shop floor to foster safety awareness and adherence.
  • Perform internal audits of HSE programs to assess compliance and identify necessary program adjustments.
  • Ensure adherence to governmental regulations (such as OSHA and EPA) as well as corporate HSE standards.
  • Build collaborative relationships with other HSE teams within the company.
  • Oversee and lead the site's Process Safety Management (PSM) program.

Requirements:

  • Strong technical knowledge of HSE principles and practices.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
