Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in a full-time teletherapy position. This role will involve working with a school district in Washington, providing speech and language services to students in grades K-12.
Key Responsibilities- **Assess and Evaluate Students**: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' speech and language needs, and develop individualized plans to address these needs.
- **Develop and Implement Treatment Plans**: Create and implement treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each student, with the goal of improving communication, language development, articulation, and social communication skills.
- **Collaborate with Parents and Educators**: Work closely with parents and educators to ensure that students receive consistent support and guidance, and to provide regular updates on student progress.
- **Maintain Accurate Records**: Keep accurate and detailed records of student assessments, treatment plans, and progress, in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- **Active License**: Possess an active license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Washington.
- **Washington Teaching Certificate**: Hold a valid Washington teaching certificate.
- **Masters Degree**: Possess a Master's degree in Communications or Speech Pathology.
- **ASHA CCCs**: Hold certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- **Professional Liability Insurance**: Maintain professional liability insurance.
- **Minimum 2 Years of School Experience**: Have a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a school setting.
- **Tech Screen**: Be able to pass a technical screening.
