Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our dynamic interdisciplinary team at EvergreenHealth's Acute Care/Inpatient Rehabilitation department. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients requiring speech, language, and swallowing therapy services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and treat patients with swallowing, communication, and cognitive disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in conjunction with the patient, family, and rehabilitation team
  • Provide timely and effective patient care, including individual treatments and group therapy sessions
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care and accurate documentation of patient progress
  • Participate in program development and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • Current Speech-Language Pathology License from the Washington State Department of Health
  • Experience in administering and analyzing Modified Barium Swallow Studies
  • Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification
