Job Title: CDL Class A Delivery Driver

At TransForce, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CDL Class A Delivery Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for delivering food and food-related products to our customers in a safe and timely manner.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented CDL Class A Delivery Driver to join our team. As a CDL Class A Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for driving a tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes, delivering food and food-related products to our customers. You will also be responsible for performing pre- and post-trip inspections, handling customer transactions, and maintaining accurate records of your deliveries.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive a tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes, delivering food and food-related products to our customers.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure the safety and security of the vehicle and its cargo.
  • Handle customer transactions, including receiving payment and processing returns.
  • Maintain accurate records of your deliveries, including tracking and reporting any issues or concerns.
  • Work collaboratively with our transportation team to ensure timely and efficient delivery of our products.
Requirements:
  • 12 months commercial driving experience.
  • Valid CDL A license.
  • Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable).
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years.
  • Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
  • Pass road test.
  • Valid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of commercial driving experience.
  • Foodservice distribution industry experience.
  • Onboard computer and electronic log system experience (i.e. PeopleNet).
  • Hand-held point of delivery scanning system experience (i.e. POD).
  • Customer service related work experience.
