Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CDL Class A Delivery Driver to join our team at Performance Foodservice. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering food and beverage products to our customers in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Food and Beverage Products: Safely transport and deliver food and beverage products to our customers, adhering to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
  • Communicate with Customers and Vendors: Interact with customers and vendors in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring all questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Perform Pre- and Post-Trip Inspections: Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections of your vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition and meets company safety standards.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Complete all required paperwork, including logs and delivery records, in an accurate and legible fashion.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring all customers are satisfied with their deliveries and resolving any issues promptly.
Requirements
  • Commercial Driving Experience: 12 months of commercial driving experience required.
  • Valid CDL A: Must possess a valid CDL A license.
  • Clean MVR: Must have a clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past 3 years.
  • DOT Health Card: Must possess a valid current DOT Health Card or be able to secure one.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to lift and move product cases and freight of varying size and weight throughout the shift.
