Position Overview:
Utilize engineering expertise and skills to manage moderately complex engineering initiatives aimed at enhancing or developing process control systems and methodologies from the initial material phase through to product manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Adhere to and strive to achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to safety, quality, production, efficiency, and service standards.
2. Implement practices and processes that ensure the delivery of safe products compliant with relevant regulations and company quality benchmarks.
3. Commit to safety protocols and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
4. Oversee, prioritize, and finalize projects or programs of moderate to significant size, scope, and duration.
5. Collaborate with fellow engineers, technicians, designers, and drafters to coordinate project efforts.
6. Lead discussions on process failures, conduct audits, and perform investigations to ensure consistent solutions across all facilities.
7. Conduct feasibility studies for fabrication, assembly, machining, or processing tasks.
8. Assist technicians in the assembly and disassembly of process equipment to troubleshoot issues.
9. Analyze, identify, evaluate, propose, implement, and document engineering solutions.
10. Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for equipment processes.
11. Work closely with production teams and other departments to gather insights, draft reports, and enhance equipment, processes, and products.
12. Establish testing parameters and engage in testing, data analysis, and implementation of processes and engineering solutions.
13. Identify broad conceptual ideas and translate them into practical solutions.
14. Formulate continuous improvement strategies aimed at enhancing efficiency, quality, safety, or service.

Core Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field with three (3) years of relevant engineering experience, or an Associate's degree with nine (9) years of relevant engineering experience.
- Proficiency in analyzing production equipment, processes, and materials to resolve issues.
- Familiarity with various statistical and quality methodologies, including but not limited to Statistical Process Control (SPC), Statistical Quality Control (SQC), 5S, 8D, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Root Cause Analysis, Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility (R&R), and Design of Experiments (DOE).
- Capability to draft and manage Process Control Plans and Process Reaction Plans.
- Previous experience with thermoforming, injection molding, printing, and/or paper production processes.
- Understanding of the practical application of engineering principles and technology.
- Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications.
- Familiarity with design techniques, tools, and principles involved in creating precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
- Insight into raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and techniques for optimizing the manufacture and distribution of products.
- Strong logical reasoning skills to evaluate alternative solutions and approaches to problems.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and organize projects, deadlines, and tasks with minimal supervision in both team-oriented and independent settings.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex job-related information clearly.
- Demonstrated proficiency in the English language to ensure effective training and ongoing communication regarding safety and quality matters.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree.
