Electrical Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at Dart Container. As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in managing moderately complex engineering projects and collaborating with production associates and other departments to gather information and draft reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply electrical engineering knowledge and skills for moderately complex engineering projects.
  • Identify broad conceptual ideas and develop them into useful solutions.
  • Collaborate with production associates and other departments to gather information and draft reports.
  • Establish continuous improvement and operational excellence plans where efficiency, quality, safety, or service can be improved.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in engineering or related field of study and three (3) years of related engineering experience (preferred), OR
  • Associate's degree and nine (9) years of related engineering experience.
  • Experience designing, developing, implementing and troubleshooting motion control systems, electrical control systems, production equipment automation, and industrial controls networks.
  • Ability to successfully prioritize, and organize projects, deadlines, and tasks with little supervision in both team and independent environments.
