Job Title: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join our team at the Department of Veterans Affairs Houston Healthcare System. As a CRNA, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality anesthesia care to our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and develop anesthesia plans
  • Administer various forms of anesthesia, including inhalation, regional, intravenous, local, and topical anesthetics
  • Continuously evaluate patient physical status and responses to anesthesia
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:
  • Current, full, active, and unrestricted registration as a graduate professional nurse in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States
  • Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia education program approved by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists
  • Certified/Board Eligible (Preferred)
  • Extensive training/experience with thoracic, cardiac, vascular, neurosurgery anesthesia, and regional anesthesia (Preferred)
