Floor Maintenance Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Floor Technician to join our team at Chimes. As a Floor Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining all floor surfaces, including cleaning, sweeping, and applying finishes. This is a critical role that requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain all floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, and applying finishes
  • Operate floor care equipment, including wet vacs, carpet extractors, and floor machines
  • Strip, seal, wax, burnish, and buff floors as needed
  • Perform preventative maintenance checks on equipment before and after use
  • Follow all safety rules and procedures when using equipment
  • Assist with inventory and perform general custodial duties as needed
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Floor Technician training desired
  • Knowledge of floor finishes, applications, and removals
  • Knowledge of floor care equipment
  • Six months of Floor Technician experience preferred
  • Six months of Custodial experience
