Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced School Director to lead our team at Children\u0027s Lighthouse of Oak Forest. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving success in critical performance categories, including enrollment, retention, productivity, quality, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit, hire, and train new employees as needed.
  • Execute operational strategies to drive success in critical performance categories.
  • Analyze center trends and performance, providing support to enable centers to thrive.
  • Build high-performing teams by creating an environment of trust and rapport with franchisees and support school employees.
  • Lead licensing, marketing, and advertising efforts for the school.
  • Seek out resources to minimize and resolve problems.
  • Proactively address concerns, considering the needs and opinions of both internal and external customers.
  • Consistently seek new and innovative ways to improve performance for the school.
  • Maintain knowledge of standard operating procedures and childcare licensing regulations.
  • Ensure the school operates within state requirements and avoids opportunities for risk.
  • Effect change required for continual compliance and improvement.
  • Manage budget in compliance with franchisee guidelines.
  • Represent the school to the public, community, parents, visitors, and staff with professionalism and integrity.
  • Foster and maintain excellent community outreach and partnerships.
  • Maintain exceptional relationships with enrolled families through written and verbal communication, family events, and positive interactions.
  • Attend/conduct meetings and trainings as directed.
  • Follow through with all duties and responsibilities as assigned in a competent and timely manner.
