Regional Sales Director Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Sales Director to lead our sales team in South Texas. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership success and knowledge of contract/capital goods industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead the sales team to achieve assigned goals for market share growth, revenue, and order/shipment volumes.
  • Manage all business activities within the territory, including dealer sales planning, market share growth, and progress toward revenue goals.
  • Evaluate the performance of the regional sales team and make adjustments as needed.
  • Collaborate with Regional Sales Directors on individual market strategies and engage all business partners of each vertical market segment within the region.
  • Manage region business activities, including budget management, discounting, account planning, and relationship management of customers, dealers, and A+D firms.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2+ years of sales leadership experience, demonstrating a proven track record of leadership success and knowledge of contract/capital goods industries.
  • 4-6 years of successful contract/capital goods selling.
  • Advanced selling skills, including account penetration, strategic selling, conceptual selling, issues-based selling, consultative selling, negotiation, and contracts.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate and negotiate.
