Position Overview: Indus Group Inc. is in search of a skilled bartender to enhance our beverage service at our upscale venue. This role involves crafting unique cocktails and providing exceptional service to our patrons.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests.
  • Engage with customers, providing recommendations and answering inquiries about our drink offerings.
  • Accurately process orders and manage transactions, ensuring all sales are recorded correctly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and restocking supplies as needed.
  • Stay informed about current menu items and seasonal offerings to enhance guest experience.
  • Assist in the upkeep of the lounge and surrounding areas, ensuring a welcoming environment.
  • Monitor and report any maintenance issues or safety concerns within the bar area.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a bartending role is preferred, with a strong understanding of craft cocktails and beverage service.
  • Availability to work weekends is essential for this position.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact positively with guests.
  • Ability to handle cash and perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:

The role requires the ability to lift and move items up to 25 pounds and to stand for extended periods. The work environment may include exposure to various chemicals and moderate noise levels.
