Position Summary:

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Technicians to contribute to our clinical operations. The Patient Care Technician plays a crucial role in supporting the management team to ensure high-quality patient care, satisfaction, and staff development. This position requires a commitment to the organization's philosophy and policies.

The Patient Care Technician is tasked with maintaining a safe and hygienic work environment and delivering age-appropriate patient care in accordance with established protocols and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit thorough knowledge of policies and procedures relevant to the Patient Care Technician role.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in technical skills as outlined in the competency assessment program.
  • Understand and apply the procedures for patient care, including treatment protocols and emergency procedures.
  • Assist with administrative tasks under the guidance of the nursing leadership.
  • Take on additional responsibilities and projects as assigned based on expertise and experience.
  • Engage in opportunities for personal and professional development.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Certification is mandatory.
  • Active state licensure/certification is required.
  • Preferred background in physical sciences or laboratory techniques.
  • At least one year of experience in dialysis is preferred.
  • Experience in reprocessing and equipment maintenance is advantageous.
  • Completion of a training program in hemodialysis theory and practice or relevant state certification is necessary.
  • Valid driver's license and insurance are required for potential travel.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records is preferred.
  • CPR certification is required.
  • Successful completion of a drug screening and background check is mandatory for employment.
